| About Chris Wagner |
Chris is a resident of coastal North Carolina. He
graduated from the Corcoran College of Art & Design
('92) in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor in Fine Arts.
Solely a watercolorist, Chris uses an extreme depth
of color and contrast not often seen in the medium.
Neither complete realism nor impressionism, he
explores a go-between both, giving an atmospheric
feeling to his works.
He has lived from the mountains to the sea of N.C.,
and enjoys painting locations and people from all
paths he has crossed. North Carolina is a state rich
in subject matter, and should keep him painting for
years to come.
He has participated in both group and solo shows in
North Carolina galleries. Currently he lives with his
wife and step-children in Morehead City.
